The minister’s wagesa was designed after the Buddhist Churches of American (BCA) Federation of Buddhist Women’s Association’s official monto shikisho. The wagesa will follow the traditional design of the Buddhist multi-fold silk brocade surplice.
The motif is of the California Poppy with the Golden Gate Bridge background and was designed in keeping with the history of the founding of the Buddhist Churches of America, Buddhist Women’s Association in San Francisco.
